My sympathies on your family's loss. I read about it on Pat & Les' blog. I followed your journey when you adopted Sara and rejoiced when she became your little girl.

May God give you the strength you need to get through the upcoming days.

    Gina,

At such a tragic time words are not enough and no person has the power to make the pain you are feeling magically go away. I pray with all my heart that you will find comfort with family and friends who love you dearly. I also have faith that God will wrap his arms around you and your beautiful children to give you the strength and hope you need to face all the tomorrows.

I accidently found your blog and have been following your journey with Sara. Your cousin Luigi has been my best friend for over 15 years. Some day I hope we meet.

    Gina,

I've been reading your blog, and thinking about you since I learned of Philip's passing. Your blog seems inspired by your faith in God's plan and purpose in life. They say that the only way to know if your purpose in life has been fulfilled is this: If you are still alive, it isn't - and so, perhaps it is that Philip served his purpose by being the man who helped you fulfil your journey to Sara. It is without doubt, hesitation or uncertainty that Philip's legacy lives strong through Anthony, Marina, Rafael and Sara as well as through you. You both seemed to be genuinely in love and an inspiration to so many including me - both so selfless, generous and sincere. I will always remember smoking and drinking with him and his laugh, and how I shared his mischivious nature, covering my sister and Angelo's bed in sugar at the hotel after their wedding, or shaking the champagne bottle before opening it, or the ride he gave me on the harley - I remember Uncle Phil as full of life and energy which I know will survive his untimely death.

    You are in my prayers
